Tom Goymour lives in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England with his large family.
He has a keen interest in many things and believes that anyone can achieve their goals in life if they really consider that they have ambition to get over the one single hurdle: - there is only one seemingly unsolvable problem in life; - there aren't enough hours in each day! That said, away from his full time work in a special school, he divides his time between his creative pursuits as well as running a part time but fully professional print and graphics business. This massive challenge manifests itself in many ways (he owns more than just this one website!), but there still has to be time for the important things in life . . . classical music, football, and spending time with the family. (Abbey Goymour: first daughter . . . after many sons stole the limelight!) Now, I'd like to ask you some questions . . if you're interested in finding out what I do and why I do it . . . |

Is spending two hours every night in front of TV bad for you?
Well, probably no actually, in most cases, but it depends what you could be doing instead. If you have been able o use your talent at other times then hey, that's cool if TV helps you relax. (We all have a talent.) However, I'm not made that way and I have to be on the go doing something constructive.
(Typical evening: ferrying kids to clubs/pass time activities - 2 hours average; creatively constructive work on something every night 1-3 hours, TV rare, and limited! . . but I do go out of my way to watch important things) - and we all must decide for ourselves just what is important to us.

Music: We all love it to some extent. Do you have a wide taste in music?
I ask this because it's the single emotion that is most important to me and I passionately feel that every human is capable of responding to music emotionally in some way. I have a very wide taste in music but I categorise it into really two categories: serious and light, although both can stir strong emotions. You can discover my in depth thoughts here.
I feel that everyone should open their minds to different forms of music, be receptive and understand that it's a language. Anyone who makes any form of music is talking to you. Respect them for it.
Piano Music:
I have written many pieces for the piano. Those who know me will know of my keen enthusiasm for playing the instrument any which way I can.
As yet I haven't published . . maybe that's next!

Everyone in the world can communicate though some form of art. What can YOU do?
It's official . . and it's true. Cavemen did it, the rich and famous have done it, I can do it and YOU can do it. Art is a language we can all use
