Hey, you're welcome here.
I like to write fiction from the heart, about the things in life that inspire me. Every story has a message. Most of my stories are fairly short, but there's a lot going on. Sometimes you might just need to take that second look. I live on the outskirts of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England. I've come to writing relatively late in life having also found art and music my voice-pieces of creativity in the past. |
I am the author of THE SPIRIT OF PETERBOROUGH series, and THE SECOND CHANCE SHORT STORY COLLECTION as well as other stories such as I'LL BE THERE FOR THE REPLAY, and PROPHECY OF PEACE – mystery ghost stories that are centred around strands of true past events which will leave the reader thinking.
AUTUMN 2018
Oh the woes of writing! The year has stormed by and I've had to sidetrack ... still not got my new series opener quite into shape . . . BUT... I'm part of something else very exciting.
A collection of short stories (A large one) is being published this Autumn. I am part of the Burning Anthology, and my story: Circle of Friends is there right in the middle of the book. (link coming soon)
WINTER 2018
It's been hectic since Christmas, but I am now well on the way to finishing first drafts of two books in the new mystery series to be out later in the year . . . more news here as I have it.
AUTUMN 2017
I am excited about this NEW SHORT STORY SERIES I am releasing in instalments between now and Christmas. Go here
SUMMER 2017
Latest updates: THE SPIRIT OF PETERBOROUGH SERIES is now complete. All 4 books are out there. Two of them have had a complete rewrite and several hundred downloads of A Place in Time helped to shift it up the rankings initially. Print copies to follow soon.
NEW MYSTERY SERIES: 2017 is proving to be hectic . . . confession time . . . I haven't quite moved things forward as far as I intended. However, BOOK 1 of my new series (name still to be decided) is not too far away. It will be a 2018 release. I will be sending out a first draft of the opening to invited beta readers very soon.

Once I picked this up, I was unable to put it down. Thoroughly enjoyed the book and every page has a twist. Even when I finished reading it, I was still thinking about the stories for the days following. The author has really captured my imagination and rekindled my love for reading.
Dan White Just finished reading Tom Goymour's book The Spirit of Peterborough. A well written collection of stories with a ghostly theme. All have an unexpected twist. Well done Tom, I couldn't put it down! you have such a rich imagination and use of language. Sue Baron Having thoroughly enjoyed Tom's first book, I eagerly awaited this publication and it has exceeded my expectations, Tom's descriptive writing is so great that you can picture each scene as it unfolds and the merging of the ghostly and historical local facts into the story leads to a very interesting and thought provoking read. If you enjoy this book you should really read his first one too! Jenny Avis |
